is the only locally owned and operated Transportation Logistics Company in Central New York. Founded in 1967, we  began as a gas station renting two vehicles from our original location in Eastwood. Today, we pride ourselves on being the premier provider of corporate rental and leasing needs.

In the past 40 years, we have evolved our business to accommodate the ever changing needs of our clients.  The result of this evolution is the system we have today. Americar has grown into a multi faceted business that collectively employs over 40 people and has over 650 vehicles in its rental and lease fleets.  

We offer not only Thrifty & Dollar Car Rental, but also Americar Leasing, Americar Sales, and Americar Service.  These operations are housed in our modern 18,500 square foot facility, conveniently located in North Syracuse.
